Ithaca College Selects FLTG for Internet Bandwidth Services

ITHACA, N.Y., October 21, 2008 - Finger Lakes Technologies Group, Inc. to provide Internet services to Ithaca College.
Ithaca College has selected Finger Lakes Technologies Group Inc. for Internet bandwidth services.
Under the terms of a five-year agreement, FLTG will provide redundant Internet bandwidth to Ithaca College. The college will receive 45 megabyte bandwidth from FLTG's fiber optic network, which runs from Rochester to Ithaca. Read More...

FLTG Signs 20-Year Contract for Dark Fiber

VICTOR, N.Y., February 6, 2008 - Cornell University and Finger Lakes Technologies Group Inc. Sign 20-Year Contract for Dark Fiber.

Cornell University has inked a 20-year contract with Finger Lakes Technologies Group Inc. to provide "dark fiber" to the university.

According to the Indefeasible Right of Use (IRU) contract, Cornell University will lease dark fiber from FLTG. As a result of choosing dark fiber, the university will add electronics as needed to fully utilize the fiber capacity on its own time line, without paying for additional bandwidth. Read More...

N.Y. Senator Touts Seneca County's development

ROMULUS, N.Y. , January 2, 2008 - Noting "that we have come a long way" in converting the former Seneca Army Depot into new uses, state Sen. Michael F. Nozzolio of Fayette says the l,500 jobs there now are more than the Army offered in the 1990s.
"And we are still working aggressively to create new opportunities and development," Nozzolio added in a year-end report to his 54th District constituents.
