Trumansburg Telephone Company Inc. Holds Open House to Celebrate its 100th Anniversary

Company giving away 500 minutes of free long distance each month for three months to one lucky open house attendee
TRUMANSBURG, N.Y., Nov. 29, 2007 -
In celebration of its 100 years of service to Trumansburg, Interlaken and Ovid residents, Trumansburg Telephone Company Inc. is holding an open house on Saturday, Dec. 1, from noon to 4 p.m.

The anniversary celebration, taking place in conjunction with the 12th annual Trumansburg Winter Festival (www.tburgfestivaloflights.com), will include tours of its facility at 1 Union Street in Trumansburg, craft activities and refreshments. People who attend the open house can enter to win 500 minutes of free long distance service per month over a three-month period.

The originally named Trumansburg Home Telephone Company became part of the Ontario Telephone family of companies in 1927. Trumansburg Telephone Company Inc. was recently named "Business of the Year" for 2007 by the Trumansburg Area Chamber of Commerce.
